DBT FOR ADOLESCENTS PROTOCOL (DBT-A) TRAINING
This one day advanced protocol training is designed for therapists, clinicians and mental health practitioners to adapt their DBT practice in working with adolescents. This interactive training combines didactic teaching with multi-media tools in order to provide a hands-on experience.
Participants are recommended to hold a Masters degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology or equivalent. The degree requirement was set to ensure that participants have the basic competency as a front line mental health clinician. This training also assumes participants are registered with their respective regulatory bodies to ensure ethical and best health practices.
All trainings at our centre are pre-approved for Continuing Education Credits (CEC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA-ACCP).
*Please note that this is an advanced training for adolescent specific protocol, and does not serve as a substitute for the 5 day comprehensive training.
